Are you ready to make changes in your life? Are you ready to learn new ways of thinking and being? Are you ready to live free of anxiety or depression?
Psychotherapy can be your path to wellness.
Welcome to the opportunity to make the changes you seek in your life. Most people enter therapy with a desire to change something in their life: improve their relationships, find relief from feelings of anxiety or depression, heal from trauma, or continue on the journey of deepening their knowledge of themselves. I take an integrative approach: let's look at your body, mind and soul and work to heal and balance you on all levels.
I feel honored to have been witness to hundreds’ of clients’ journeys since I began my clinical practice in 1996. What I enjoy most about the practice of psychotherapy is the great resilience and change I see in my clients. People come to therapy when they are motivated to change. I work to act as a guide in this process.
I believe that our thoughts are powerful and that by learning to identify when our thoughts are distorted and causing anxiety or depression, we have the power to change those thoughts in an effective way.
In addition, I am trained in EMDR therapy which is an effective tool for resolving trauma or for moving out of held beliefs about yourself that prevent you from making changes in your life. To read more about a former client's experience with EMDR, click here.

Research shows that the best predictor of a successful outcome in therapy is the personality match between the client and therapist. I am happy to offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to any new client who would like to talk before we meet to see if we are a good fit. Copyright 2012-2018 Integrative Counseling, LLC.
